This is awesome! I’ve been working on something similar, but focused on the enterprise side, building an MCP that connects directly to large-scale databases.
The idea is simple: instead of engineers constantly writing queries and pulling answers, AI handles the SQL, talks to the database, synthesizes the data, and presents it to users. Millions of rows can be turned into insights, so thorough lookups and decisions happen in minutes instead of days.
I have my own agentic framework for enterprise work, which of course requires underlying infrastructure (containers etc) to support. My interest in these types of solutions (which I call a professional intelligence systems) is that there's no infrastructure overhead - a Claude Project becomes the container and I get a natural language UI. The setup and maintenance time to market is very low, and so is the cost.
Yeah, the Claude interface is so convenient for doing a lot of meaningful things without having to build up an entire UI! That’s also why I went to MCP route instead of API.
Chris, I was thinking About something similar. Actually using setup for creation before workshop specification in confluence. Claude ask me some questions and generate Confluence page with workshop specification for customer.
