I’m a software developer. I’ve trained a simple image recognition model. I was familiar with the process before that.
A computer can apply a specific algorithm to a specific task. Some, like a deterministic, finite, state machine, can be rather abstract.
A human being can apply a general algorithm to many tasks.
And LLM does neither of those things.
